These clients in Chicago worked with me in stages to update their 1980s town home. The ultimate goal for the project was a warm, minimalist, contemporary vibe that remained both inviting and timeless. We started small, with paint selections and light fixtures, and progressed to more intensive projects when the clients were ready.
The year after we completed paint and fixture work, I redesigned and managed a total renovation of the kitchen, complete with new cabinets, countertops, appliances and more. A couple of years later, we revamped all of the bathrooms, including the master, as well as the main hallway. For each project, I focused on maintaining a clean, refined look that made efficient use of the space.
“Amy’s work is amazing, as evidenced by the pictures. But what really sets Amy apart is her patience, her ability to listen and her calming/focusing influence, no matter what the issue. … She creates practical, beautiful spaces for real people (and their kids) to live in!”
